WINDSURF – SCHOOL AND RENTAL

SPECIAL TEST LESSON:

• What is it: this lesson is perfect for those who have never tried and want to "break the ice", so to see if you like it and continue (material and clothing are included)
• Start: every day at 9.00
• Requirements: minimum 6 years and 25 kg of weight

GROUP LESSONS:

• Courses start: every day for adults and children
• Lesson duration: 2.5 hours (1/4 of theory, 3/4 of practice in water)
• Timetable: 9.00 am for beginners and advanced (with light wind and flat water) or 1.30 pm for experts (with strong wind and waves)
• Number of participants per group: 2 to 6 people
• Levels: all windsurfing levels (see explanatory table below)
• Minimum course days: 1 (on average 4-5 days are needed to learn the basic technique)
• VDWS Certyificate: at the end of the course, if you wish, you can obtain the VDWS license (Association of German schools for water sports), recognized worldwide: € 30.00 (per book, exam and license)

PRIVATE LESSONS:

• Availability: every day, both for adults and children
• Start time: to be defined based on availability and learning needs
• Level: all levels, the teacher will define the objectives directly with the participant

ALL TYPE OF LESSONS INCLUDE:

• Material (board, sail, life jacket, wetsuit, trapeze if needed and shoes)
• Certificate of participation with the level achieved
• Warm-up (optional): 8.40 am (duration 15 min) - June to September
• Motorboat assistance

EXPLANATORY TABLE OF ALL LEVELS

Learning the basic manoeuvres. Starting out, tacking and jibing. In only 4 days you will be able to navigate on your own in light wind conditions.

This course follows on from the beginners course and enables you to acquire greater confidence in medium strength winds, jibing with daggerboard.

Starting off in strong winds, use of the harness, tacks, best body and rig position when coursing with or without daggerboard. Learning of the beach-start, use of the harness.

Lessons starts at 9:00 am or 1:30 pm
Best harness technique, optimal body and rig position in all the coursing directions with and without daggerboard. Learning of the planing coursing and beach start.

Lessons starts at 1:30 pm
How to steer the board with your feet, straps technique, slalom, power jibe, quick tack, water start.

Lessons starts at 1:30 pm
Water start and all variations, best balance on the semisinker and variation in the power jibe, duck-jibe method, basic techniques for radical manoeuvres and, most important of all, confidence in all wind conditions.

The technique in its purest form, at your disposal: allow yourself a full immersion to give and receive the maximum on the water. An expert trainer that explains you everything you desire to know and that follows and guides you constantly to be able to correct you in every possible detail.
